My dearest Friend, How are you -- in
tolerable spirits I sincerely hope -- I send you
a handcherchief for which you owe me 2/9d --
Do not go to Hero's on Sunday, because I cannot
my Father who has a particular reason for wishing
me to dine at home, is gone to beg me off[1]
if you send an excuse now it will not seem
concerted -- adieu I am very well --
